Privacy policy
The short version: the AI runs on your phone, your videos are not uploaded to analyse them, there are no ads, and we do not sell or share data for marketing.
Who is responsible
Fran Martínez. Contact: the form at the bottom of this page.
What stays on your phone
The photos and videos from your drone, the flight records and the AI analysis. The app reads them on the phone and does not upload them to analyse them.
What is uploaded, and only if you link a search
- The search area and the route flown.
- For each possible animal: a small close-up, the time and the place on the map.
- An anonymous identifier for the phone, so that only the owner of the search can see it.
On the search web, the owner signs in with an email link. We store that email address and what the owner enters: the last place the animal was seen, sightings and notes.
The drone manufacturer
To fly DJI drones the app uses DJI's developer kit. That kit registers the app with DJI and can send DJI usage data, under DJI's privacy policy.
Where the data is kept
In Google Firebase: the database and the close-ups are stored in Madrid, Spain. The sign-in service may process data in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long
Until you delete the search or your account. To delete them, write to us using the form at the bottom of this page.
People in the images
The AI looks for animals, not people. If a close-up shows a person, a house or a number plate and you want it removed, write to us and we will delete it.
This website
It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It does not use cookies or advertising trackers. To know which pages are read, we count each page view without cookies and without storing your IP address: only the day, the page, the country, the website you came from and whether it is a phone.
The form to get an email when the app is out
If you fill it in, we keep your email, what you choose under "You are…", your message, the language, the page you sent it from and the country. We use them only to write to you when the app is out and to answer you. They are stored in Cloudflare and reach our inbox through Google (Gmail); both may process data in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We keep them until you ask us to delete them; to do so, write to us using the form at the bottom of this page.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how it is used; to do so, write to us using the form at the bottom of this page. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
