About Animal Drone Rescue AI

Animal Drone Rescue AI is a non-profit project. It started on a beach in Spain in October 2026, flying a small DJI drone over our own dog, Mosty, to see whether a phone could find a dog from the air.

It could not, at first. A generic AI took a cream-coloured dog on the sand for a bird. So we recorded hundreds of frames, marked the dogs by hand and trained our own model, until it found them.

The app is free because the people who need it are in the worst moment to be asked for money, and the people who can help are volunteers. There are no ads and we do not sell data.

What we ask in return

• Tell us when it works and when it does not. Every real search makes the AI better.
• Share it with your local lost-pet group and with drone pilots near you.
